The Silver Summer League began in the summer of 2004 after the passing of Coach Randy Leasley of China Spring High School. Coach Leasley founded the summer league and managed it for many years. However, in his absence, many Central Texas boys basketball coaches unified their efforts and successfully maintained the summer league for many student athletes around the area. The league continues to grow and prosper each summer. The league guarantees 10 games for each team and has a Varsity and Junior Varsity level.
